Baie, baie dankie aan almal (elke instanstansie, maatskappy, besigheid en individu) wat bygedra het om hierdie die eerste van baie te maak.
Dankie ook aan al ons gaste. Julle is voorwaar mense waaroor ons nog lank gaan praat. Dankie aan al ons nuwe vriende wat nie skaam was om in die Koningryk te saai nie, mag julle geseën word.

I Am Special is a Christian-based, non-profitable children’s upliftment and educational ministry. The founders of this ministry believe that the idea of I Am Special was born in God’s heart and we have the privilege to tell and show children all over nations that they are really special. God gave all of us special gifts and anyone that is called by God can be part of this ministry in any way He lays it on your heart! We are just a bunch of special people who tell children they are all special, because we believe that the love of God is not ours to keep, but His to share. And who better to share it with than the leaders and followers of tomorrow.

We focus on the children of the nation. Mostly children from deprived and underprivileged communities where the social and home life is not what most of us takes for granted.
We focus on sharing God’s love, our time and biblical guidance with them.

To share the love, grace and joy of our Heavenly Father with children. To let every child know and believe they are special, despite where they come from, who they are, or what their circumstances are. They are special just because God made them. We don’t want to change their circumstances or promise them a better life, but we want to give them hope and guidance and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
We would like to share this secret with each and every child.

Saal benodig vir huishulp selgroep
Ek het ‘n huishulp selgroep by my huis begin 2 jaar terug, hier in Sonstraal, Durbanville. Die groep het met 8 inbly huishulpe begin, en vandag het ons 27 op die lys en daar kom gereeld ‘n nuwe persoon kuier. Daar’s gemiddeld so 17 vrouens ‘n week wat bywoon. My huis het in die laaste ruk te klein begin raak vir die groep. Die groep word huidiglik gelei deur Charmyne Engelbrecht, wat voltyds in bediening staan by Christ Embassy in Kaapstad.
Die vrouens word opgerig om Jesus voluit te dien, leiers in hul gemeenskap te wees en ook in te tree vir hul werkgewers en hul gesinne. Hulle is passievol oor Christus en ons kan getuig van God se liefde en guns. Vir party vrouens is dit die enigste geleentheid om kerk by te woon. Ons vertrou dat dit sal verander.
Ons benodig ‘n saal/ klaskamer vir Dinsdae aande wat ten minste 30 vrouens kan akkomodeer. Verkieslik met ‘n TV en dvd speler sodat ons kan worship en preke kan kyk. Ons sal dankbaar wees as dit in Durbanville area, of in Welgemoed area kan wees. Ons benodig ook taxis wat die persone kan op-en aflaai. Die vrouens is meer as bereid om te stap, maar in die winter reen dit baie keer, en vir veiligheidsredes wil ons ook nie he hulle moet 21h00 in die aand huistoe stap nie. Christ Embassy sal selfs bereid wees om vir die taxi bestuurders te betaal elke week, ons soek net betroubare drywers wat ekstra geld wil maak en tot 21h30 kan rondry op Dinsdaeaande. Thank you to Hanlie and Letsie
Thank you for Letsie for spreading the word about the need at House Jabez and to Hanlie who donated some baby goods!
Huis Jabez - dringend hulp nodig!
Ons Veilige Huis vir vroue en kinders wat slagoffers van gesinsgeweld is, is op ‘n stadium waar baie dinge besig is om te gebeur. Soos julle dalk weet het ons altyd net die huis in die noordelike voorstad gehuur, die eienaar het besluit om nou hom permanent in Australië te vestig en wil van sy eiendom so gou moontlik ontslae raak. Dit het ons in die situasie geplaas dat ons verplig is om die huis te koop.
Die huis is so goed geleë, en boonop nog uitstekend uitgelê vir die doel waarvoor ons dit gebruik, elke kamer het omtrent sy eie badkamer, wat die vrou en haar kinders hul privaatheid gun.
As ‘n artikel 18 geregistreerde organisasie waar donateurs hul donasie kan aftrek van belasting wil ek weer eens ‘n versoek rig om ons finansieël by te staan. Dalk weet u van iemand wat ons kan help, wat ons ook kan nader. Ons kry geen subsidies nie.
Verder, hierdie is dalk ‘n effense kleiner probleem (letterlik en figuurlik kleiner), het ons 2 vrouens wat onderskeidelik in die volgende maand geboorte moet gee aan ‘n seuntjie en die ander aan ‘n dogtertjie.
Ons benodig babaklere, doeke, en alles wat kan help om so ‘n dingetjie meer welkom te kan laat voel. Ons huis het darem een bababedjie.
Ek was nog nooit bang dat Huis Jabes se deure sal toemaak nie, aangesien ek oortuig is dat God net die lig wat ons nodig het vir presies daardie oomblik wanneer ons dit nodig het sal gee. In sulke tye wandel ek ten volle in die geloof, nie in staat om die toekoms te sien nie en sonder om die verlede ten volle te verstaan.
Baie dankie dat jy bereid was om hierdie epos versoek te lees en moontlik sal oorweeg om vir ‘n paar goedhartige mense aan te stuur.

MES Cape Town is a community based Christian organisation that initiates and facilitates activities to empower people holistically to live independent, sustainable and meaningful lives.
We work in close partnership with other organisations and role players (Dept of Social Services, SAPS, churches, shelters, rehabilitations centres businesses, etc. ) to reach its goals.

About us
BCM had humble beginnings with church services (singing, preaching of God’s Word, prayer, counseling) under a tree in a park near the Vredelust Church in Bellville. The services were initially lead by brother Harold Abrahams and his wife Fiela, and attended by 5 to 7 homeless people. The number of homeless people attending the services grew rapidly, and as more people attended, the services were moved to more suitable and spacious venues. Currently BCM is situated at the BCM Centre 10 Modderdam Road, Bellville. Behind Paint City. Meals are served daily at 13.00 h at this venue.

Through the grace and favor of God MES Cape Town currently enjoys extensive practical support from various sectors of our community, and a large number of individuals and groups. Currently between 80 and 125 homeless people (representative of all race groups, but mostly adult men ) regularly attend and participate in a range of activities and programs aimed at their spiritual, social and economic development. It is our aim to, through an integrated approach, achieve the holistic development of each precious person we are blessed to interact and work with.
